Most textile wear comes from heat, harsh detergent and crowded wash cycles. Sort by colour, use a gentle detergent and give fabric enough room to move.
Wash cooler, dry gentler
Cool or lukewarm water is kinder to fibres and printed colour. Line dry in shade where possible, and remove pieces while they are still slightly damp to reduce deep creases.
Store only when completely dry
Fold textiles loosely and keep them in a dry, ventilated cupboard. Avoid plastic storage for long periods so natural fibres can breathe.
